"After 3 days at a resort with no vegan food, we were dying for something good to eat. This was our first stop when we drove into Key West, and found amazingly good vegan and gluten free options. I got the curry in butternut squash which was so creative and delicious. My wife shared a vegan pizza and pita with hummus with our daughters. The hummus tasted homemade and very good. The pizza was very good and had a good mix of veggies. We also got fries which actually were great with the hummus. We really wish we could have come back!

Side notes - at Noon on a Thursday we got seated right away and had our food in about 20-30 minutes. The workers were very friendly.

We highly recommend this to any starving vegans visiting the Florida Keys, and to anyone else looking for a really good meals."

"I have been going here for 20 years and every single time it’s amazing. Consistency is so rare with restaurants but not this place. Of course, the BLT Benedict is a must-try. It’s fantastic. However, you will not go wrong with any of the other items on the menu. Their pancakes and banana bread and lunches and dinners are also equally as consistent and fantastic. Plus, this place is extremely fast. I consider this a must stop when in Key West."

"While strolling in Duval Street, we ended up discovering this beautiful, cozy restaurant. My friend and I thought of eating just pasta.
But the moment we entered into the restaurant, the ambience, music, interior, everything was so cozy and welcoming. We got a very nice spot to sit. Starting from the bread to dessert, everything was delicious. We had bread, starter, main course, dessert and coffee. Best Italian food I had so far.
Would like to thank the staff and everyone for providing such an amazing experience to us."

"This has been a long time favorite of ours in Key West and it still is. The house special yellowtail snapper is a home run. Everyone at our table thought their entree was excellent and everyone on our trip selected 7 fish as the best restaurant that we went to over a 6 day trip. Highly recommend you make reservations as they get very busy. You're gonna love this place."

"What an amazing meal! Good enough to learn Spanish for. Rich flavors and amazing presentation. I will be back to try other menu items. I had the seafood tacos. Savory sauce and crispy bean and rice cake. Delightful seafood that was fresh, sweet, and tender. Not murdered like they do back home."

"This place has great views, great food and great service. Our server, Zoe from Indiana, was attentive and personable - we couldn't have asked for better! My family and I visited for lunch, and atmosphere was casual and friendly. I loved the fact that the restaurant was right on the water, and we could see fisherman docking at the marina and cleaning their catch. I heard rumors that sometimes manatee like to stop by, but we didn't see any on our visit. Oh well! Parking was a breeze.

Highly recommend this place for a casual bite to eat and an extensive selection of beer. And thank you again to Zoe for such a great experience!"

"Fantastic, Fantastic, Fantastic!! We got most of everything including a cookie. Between the 3 of us we demolished almost every single dish. The barbeque ribs ranked the highest among us. Delicate, tender and full of flavor. If you're a lover of curry, the cauliflower will have you raving. Best place for social eat and the staff was amazing. We ate with three local friends and had a blast. Deciding where to eat was difficult for our trip until we stopped here and found a return favorite. Hats off to the chef for every dish and friendly atmosphere, I can't recall a spot where I ate almost every dish and wanted more of it. If any one finds themselves at the bottom of this rave review, I cannot stress enough on stopping by and trying every single dish.

Dietary restrictions: Gluten free, uses tamari for soy sauce. 90% sides are also gluten free."

"Beautiful setting whether you are inside or out. Sitting at the bar overlooking the gorgeous ocean provides a certain calmness hard to match anywhere. Marcy was attentive and cheerful. The coconut crusted grouper could not have been cooked more perfect. Kudos to the chef for the flavorful bok choy: tender with just enough crisp. Conch fritters were nice and moist and not over cooked. Pretty special key lime pie with a beautiful presentation."

"Excellent service and a wide variety of food options will be a hit! We had the hogfish sandwich with fries and the beer broiled shrimp. Both were prepared and presented well. Food was served hot and fries were crisp. They also had a good selection of beer.

We sat outside with a beautiful view of the harbor as the sun set. Key lime pie was good…not awesome but a nice way to end the meal. Definitely recommend."

"With so many seafood spots, this spot may get overlooked but it definitely needs to be on the top of the list! Amazing food, absolutely amazing, fast friendly service and a tequila selection that'll blow your mind! The non-traditional Chile relleno was phenomenal! The crunchy coating and meaty filling was so unique, we gobbled it up fast!! The queso is cheesy heaven and the grilled shrimp is done in a zesty citrus sauce that packs a punch! "Outstanding Carribean cuisine! The restaurant is not very glamorous and the service could be a bit more motivated, but who cares when they serve such amazing food. We had shrimps creole and a phenomenal seafood ragu. Every bite an explosion of flavor and the seafood cooked to perfection. That's pure happiness. I wish I had restaurants like this back home! Prices are high, but the portions are huge - we didn't make it and took the rest home satisfied.

So, leave Duval Street behind and go for this place!"

"I’m so surprised to see a few bad reviews for this place as my boyfriend and I absolutely loved it! He got the chorizo potato burrito and I’m a vegetarian so I ordered the black bean taco platter, we also shared the Mexican Fried potatoes and were obsessed with them! Probably one of the top three meals I’ve had in all of the keys for the past week that I’ve been here, and if you are a vegetarian you know that a lot of places in the keys seem to lack options or aren’t the best but this place does it right! It’s also located right across the street from Capt. Tony’s saloon so if you come at night it’s a great place with a nice atmosphere (did I mention the bathrooms were super clean during peak bar hours!) to catch a bite along the strip! The tacos are a bit on the smaller side but are so tasty and are worth it in my opinion! Great staff as well, everybody was super nice! Will definitely be returning again!

Vegetarian options: Vegetarian bean tacos, vegetarian vegetable tacos, beans and rice, corn, vegetarian bean burrito, vegetarian veggie burrito, veggie bowl, fried avocado bowl, veggie nachos"

"Our group of 6 stopped in for breakfast on a breezy Wednesday morning in April. The atmosphere was interesting here, as is the name of the restaurant. Upon entering, it feels like a cute family-owned diner. But the further I went back in the restaurant, it took on a different tone- one that's more of a seafood fare restaurant with ocean-painted walls and ocean-life hanging from the ceiling. We sat in the back and thoroughly enjoyed our food. Our server Katie was attentive to all our questions and needs throughout our visit.

I ordered the cinnamon and nutmeg French toast and tried the eggs benedict, cheddar biscuits and gravy, bananas foster waffle, and the French toast fondue. The cinnamon and nutmeg French toast was pretty boring compared to everything else I tried. And the cheddar biscuits and gravy quite possibly might have been the best biscuits and gravy I've ever had!"

If you are ordering the seafood for by the pound (you should), make sure to add the andouille sausage because it is amazing, also hot is pretty hot so be sure to use seasonings according to your taste. The staff were also great and the music was perfect for a nice island dinner. I love this place. We had both a pound of shrimp in the Cajun spicy flavors and the shrimp pasta. "It's mommy daughter vacation time. Today we decided to try the local steakhouse and let me tell you Prime Steakhouse ($$) did not disappoint
My daughter tried the filet mignon (16 oz bone in) and I had the ribeye(16 oz) our sides were the mac & cheese with penne pasta and the broccoli with cheese sauce a bread crumbs. We also enjoyed the espresso and chocolate martinis.

The steaks were cooked (medium) to perfection, well seasoned and melt in your mouth delicious. Dessert was a bowl of vanilla ice cream with whipped cream, carmel drizzle and cherries for my daughter, and the banana nut bread bread pudding with the same vanilla ice cream, whipped cream and carmel sauce drizzle. Let me just say that I was very happy that I left room for dessert

Our server Moses was absolutely AMAZING , with his big smile, welcoming demeanor and attention to detail. I would definitely return."

"Oysters, oysters, oysters. Whether you're a pro or novice to oysters, they had a decent selection here. Pro tip: order a flight of oysters (1 of each) and see which one you like. Then the second round you can double down on the best ones your taste buds chose. My personal choice was the Kumamoto. Conch chowder also had a nice mild kick to it. Drinks were tasty and cold. Friendly staff that was very attentive. The atmosphere was relaxing, and it's nice to take a stroll after dinner on the boardwalk."

"What a cool place! My wife and I stopped for dinner on a Tuesday night. Not too crowded.

Service: staff were awesome. Very friendly and attentive

Location: great spot in old Town, and convenient to get to. The building itself is pretty cool, especially knowing it was once one of the headquarters for Panam. Which definitely inspired great decor there. Plenty of great outdoor seating too; the outdoor area is very well setup

Food: delicious! Started with the Tuna poke, which was very good. I had the island chicken pasta as my entree. The chicken was cooked well and sauce was delicious. My wife had the fish tacos, which were also very tasty.

Historic building. Good service. Good food. Definitely worth a stop!"

As we were welcomed in, the host wished us a happy anniversary and made us feel very special. This same treatment continued throughout the meal as our server was hospitable and tentative. There was never a moment that we had to ask for a refill, reuse silverware, or worry about a single crumb being on the table. He cleaned our table before serving each course! "We were visiting and looking for a seafood restaurant and Pinchers showed up and it was a really good exchange! We were there for their happy hour which is pretty good! Their crab legs are quite delicious and the service was great! I can tell you it gets super busy quickly and then you will have to probably practice your patience because despite having quick servers there are a lot of people there. We came in right before the rush and we witnessed how packed it gets. I think it's one of the best seafood experiences in Key West and I highly recommend it!!! Good for all occasions and for everyone!!! I highly recommend it"

"My wife and I visited Rams Head when we were in Key West last week. I can only speak to the Blood Mary and wings. The wings were really good and the bloody was just awesome! I had a Crabby Mary and my wife had a Signature Mary. The Crabby is garnished with cold shrimp and scallops. The Signature is the basics but the waitress loaded it with bacon for my wife, she loved it. They have a build your own Bloody Mary bar, we didn't use this option this trip, however next time we will. The bar is loaded with all the goodies.

They do have a small parking lot in the back of the building, this is a huge plus and really rare in KW. If you have a handicap placard this makes for a nice free parking spot.

They do have corn hole in the in the courtyard.

The staff was really great! Give this place a visit if you get the opportunity."

"Fine dining in Key West at it’s best! We chose it to celebrate a special birthday and it did not disappoint. The entire meal was exquisite leaving nothing to be desired from the ceviche starter and perfect drinks to the coffee and desserts! Pricy but you definitely get what you pay for!
Our server, Kat greatly contributed to our overall experience. This is definitely my favorite special restaurant in all of the Keys. Can’t wait to return and try some of the other dishes!"

"Absolutely lovely spot in Key West to grab a nice lunch on the patio. They are located right by the water with a stunning view & gentle breeze. After reading reviews & getting recommendations, we decided to try the lobster pizza and it was absolutely phenomenal. We’ve never really had seafood on pizza so we were initially skeptical but it turned out to be amazing. Their mojitos were also quite great. Highly recommend stopping by!"

"Food was excellent! We walked in for lunch and sat indoors. I had the classic burger with fries. It was a freshly made hearty sized burger cooked just right (medium). The fries were crispy and yummy. My partner had the tuna salad sandwich, but it was a full plate and with great presentation. He loved it and devoured it all. The owner came to visit our table. She was very friendly and hospitable. The service was good and the atmosphere was typical for the the beach."

"The food was well prepared, and delicious. They had sides that I could order so I could complement my dish to share with my 1yo. The service was great, everyone really friendly and gave us the space we needed to have a good family dinner. It wasn't crowded, but I understand we went there on a Saturday night (they close at 9pm). You get to the restaurant by the resort entrance, and it's like you are finding a hidden gem. The drinks were pretty good too. I definitely recommend if you want a nice, reserved and fine dinner.

Kid-friendliness: The kids' menu was simple and well presented, with goog options and a fair price."

It was by far one of the absolute best meals I have ever eaten!! It was also a neat experience watching Chef prepare all of the food. Everything we ate was cooked to perfection and you just savored each bite. The atmosphere was perfect, a quaint little building that had such a warm and homey feel to it. The service was stellar as well! Everyone there was so nice and welcoming. I can say with 100% certainty that the next time I visit...we will be dining here again!"

"This is the best little hole in the wall in Key West. We were only on island for 4 days and ended up eating here twice because it was so good. The menu is small and simple. All the food is spectacular. Our whole family are huge foodies and we were all thrilled with everything we got from here. They even have options for the non seafood eaters, a club and a burger, (much appreciated) and I can attest that both are delicious. You walk up to the window, place your order, and it is made fresh while you wait. There is extremely limited seating, so you may have to take it to go, but don't let that deter you. It is more than worth it to have go sit somewhere else and eat it."

Waitress was attentive, knowledgeable and kept the drinks full. Atmosphere was busy, open air, and perfectly serene. It was neat to sit on the dock and see the boats while we ate.

Two dinner plates and dessert, no alcohol was around $100.

"We were sent here by a few local people we and had the best laid-back Key West experience. Great food, prices, and generous portions with friendly staff. Don't miss out on their Happy Hour specials before heading out for a sunset stroll on Mallory Square or road journey back to mainland Florida. Calamari and conch fritters pictured. Rumrunners were smooth and frosty. Food preparation was speedy and a live Blues musician played while we literally dined in paradise. We will definitely be back next time in Key West.

Wheelchair accessibility: Space between tables, Chairs were movable and not booth style/bolted to the floor. There is plenty of room with outdoor dining and also a few spots inside which could accommodate a wheelchair."

"Off the hook is an excellent restaurant an Old Town Key West just a bit off the path of Duvall. I had the the gobbler which was fantastic. It was like a turkey open-face Sandwich where the stuffing I've been turned into a waffle and everything was on top of that--turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy. Like an upscale version of Thanksgiving on a plate. Also their rendition of a espresso martini it's one of the best I've had in Key West. It's definitely worth eating here and I would come back again."

Cafe Sole

"Exquisite food! Conch carpaccio an intelligent texture and flavour that awakens the appetite! The hog fish sole takes center stage on the plate, its delicate and flaky texture a testament to its freshness and careful preparation. It's beautifully complemented by the rich and creamy French bake sauce, which adds a velvety touch of indulgence to every bite. Served alongside are tender lima beans, their vibrant green color and natural sweetness providing a refreshing contrast to the richness of the fish and sauce. The mashed potatoes, whipped to perfection, offer a comforting and creamy side dish that pairs harmoniously with the rest of the meal. Completing the ensemble is the carrot shredded puree, a vibrant and colorful addition that not only adds a pop of orange to the plate but also brings a subtle hint of sweetness to balance the savory elements of the dish. Together, these carefully selected components create a symphony of flavors and textures, making each bite a culinary delight that's sure to satisfy even the most discerning palates. Magnificent!"

"Group of us went close to 9pm on a Saturday night. Got seated pretty quickly outside on a large covered patio with fans.

We were greeted right away and drink orders were placed. It seemed like only one person was working because shortly after we got our drinks, it took some time to get our orders in and also, for the food to come out.

However, when it did come, the food was hot and the flavors were amazing. The pork belly is served with some slaw and under it all is pineapple. The pairing was tasty. Another friend went with the lobster roll and I was told it was one of the best they’ve ever had.

Live entertainment was going on outside so it was a nice atmosphere to be in."

"If you are in Key West you cannot miss the appointment with the lobster roll at DJ's Clam Shack, very good and tasty. The bread is appetizing, the lobster is fresh and the toppings, sauce and side salad are also very good. Also try the fried prawns: excellent. The price for the standard lobster roll is a bit high ($25 + tax) but it's really worth a try, also because it's unique and distinctive and the lobster is quite hearty. The restaurant is very simple and spartan, but clean and quaint, with a few seats in the back; fast service and courteous staff. A culinary experience not to be missed!"

"This is the best restaurant I’ve ever been to in my entire life. The food, staff, and atmosphere were all a 10/10. It is so beautiful inside and everyone was very friendly, kind, and welcoming. But the best part of this restaurant is of course the delicious food served. I ordered the flautas and carne asada and it was the most heavenly food to ever touch my tongue. This was an entirely different experience from the food I have eaten my entire life as I am a little white boy. I can’t believe I’ve gone the first 19 years of my life missing out on this. I went with my mexican boyfriend as well and he says it was very authentic and the best mexican food down here. I almost cried eating this food tonight. It was genuinely heaven on earth, the most delectable food I’ve had in my life. My eyes were watering and my lips quivering as I ate this delicious food. To the wonderful servers, staff, and cooks, I hope you all have wonderful and happy lives because you have certainly changed mine for the better. "Great Summer Rolls. Fresh. Shrimp Mong was their version of Shrimp Bún chả -- fresh, light Vietnamese noodle dish with caramelized shrimp, fragrant herbs and nuoc cham dipping sauce on vermicelli rice noodles. My husband had the Beef Lo Mein and it was served with fresh spring onions.

Don't let the exterior fool you. Located in a strip mall close to shops and hotels along Roosevelt.

This is great Vietnamese and Chinese food. Great family run restaurant. Boba Tea and coffee drinks for those who are wanting a treat.

Vegetarian options: So many vegetarian choices. Noodles. Soups. Stir fry.

"There is nothing to not love about the Moondog Cafe, from attentive servers, to freshly made juices for your mimosas, an in-house bakery, and a delightful food menu. You can't go wrong. Not on Duval Street, but still when we were leaving, there was a line to get in. Recommend missing the brunch hours, but not skipping this restaurant. My favorite thing was the fact that it is all about the history of Key West. So besides a great meal, you learn a few things."

"This is what Key West is all about. Great Food, Drinks and Live Entertainment! This location is sandwiched between William St. and the Historic Harbor Walk, along Key West Bight Marina. The open atmosphere of the historic area, along with the coming and going of boats from the Marina, coupled with the live entertainment and constant flow of people from both the street and the harbor walk, make this place a perfect people watching experience. The food is fresh and delicious. Lots of Fresh Seafood options, as well as non-seafood options. Service is decent, even when busy, seating is first come first serve, so if it’s open, you better grab it before it’s too late! Bar area as well as a second floor deck. Beverages are cold, food is delicious, entertainment no matter what direction you look, again what else could you possibly ask for?"

"My first time visiting Key West and this was the first place we stopped at. We had such a good time we called our friends who were also visiting KW and had them meet us here instead of the location we had planned to meet at. We loved the staff and the solo performer was so fun. The menu was nice and I especially enjoyed my shrimp. As expected, the drinks were great too.

The ambiance was fun with dollar bills plastered everywhere in the bar area. They had additional seating outside in an open area that looked quite comfortable."

"Had a wonderful dinner here during our honeymoon. The Tuscan steak was incredible and we've been trying to re-create it at home ever since, so so good. The margarita pizza was a bit disappointing for our taste, but we can't wait to come back and try more of the steaks and seafood. Great location for sunset to eat on the deck and really neat place inside. Looking forward to our return! Highly recommend."

"This place is right near the heart of Duvall, and did not dissapoint. The servers are so friendly and funny. The atmosphere of this restaurant is so nice, and definitely worth vibing to. They have a great variety and selections of dishes that are worth trying. Their steamed buns with pork belly is definitely something I'd recommend. I went to try their Ox tail pho as well, and its great! I just wish I had more sriracha and hoison sauce to add."

"As fresh as it gets. No frills just tasty food! As the other reviews said the lobster roll lived up to the hype! Crab cake sandwich also hit the spot. Setup is like a convenience store. Walk in check out all the fresh fish, caviar, drinks, etc. If you see something fresh in the case they can prepare it for you. There's also a menu hanging on the wall to order from. There are only 2 seats inside and the rest of the seating is outside. Once you place your order they will bring it outside to your table. Then it's time to dig in and enjoy. Everything you need is outside: napkins, condiments, ice cold water, etc. Plenty of shade and fans outside to keep you cool. Saved them in my favorite list because I'll be back."

"Dante’s is a great place to chill out by or in the pool. Drinks are always a good way to cool down and having the Super Nachos with Chicken was definitely what the doctor ordered! Yes you can play beer pong in the pool, DJ has the place jamming and the view… well that’s not bad either. Close to the Key West Express dock, whether you’re just hitting the island or departing, Dante’s is the place to go. People watching is the best at Dante’s, if you don’t see the person who’s about to get a third degree sunburn, you might be them? Seriously, use some SPF (Reef Safe of course) otherwise you’ll be hurting!"

"Balcony cocktails and exceptional food on Duval. Andy and Agnus are friendly and enthusiastic about there bar and restaurant atop 915. Romantic tables and nooks inside and out, and a great balcony for people watching a light dinners and drinks with friends. The food is gourmet. Thoughtfully designed menu and very consistent— walnut pistachio tacos are a vegan’s dream. And the Burger is so fresh, perfectly lean, and cooked it doesn’t need an oz of sauce on it, though you can add it if you must. I also love the gnocchi—sauce is stellar. Eggplant dish is also great"

"Great food and service! Even has a bar! You don’t see that at many if not any Denny’s locations around the United States. One of the only locations in Key West where you can have a sit down meal any time of day. Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our server was excellent! We were seated promptly and greeted immediately. Fast, efficient and great service all around! The bar was a nice added touch but does close at 1am I believe. A fantastic option for a late night, early morning meal or anytime of the day for that matter! I am definitely coming back to this location the next time I’m in Key West whether it’s for another meal after a night on Duvall Street, for breakfast, lunch, or perhaps a drink or two at the bar! I highly recommend this Denny’s! Located in the Overseas Market in New Town next to Winn-Dixie grocery store. "Big Cheezies has a truly stunning happy hour. I would say, it is the current best in town. The price and quality (and quantity) can't be beat. 4 drinks and 4 apps and we were out for 50 bucks. The shrimp were colossal size and there was enough fries to feed an army. Additionally have to say their Pizza is quite good.
The barbecue as well done and the staff are very good. All in all it's a rare good deal for Key West. I would definitely say it's worth the stop!

Watched the guy hand toss it and load on all the toppings. It tasted as good as it looked. They did offer slices to go. Had drinks and Gelato. Not a lot of places to sit. "I landed here with a group of beer-drinking friends. I am a wine drinker and they serve a stellar Chardonnay that was so good I had to go find a bottle for myself. The owner told me his mother picked out the wines and I like her taste! It's a very pleasant place to spend some time with good friends. And while they don't have a kitchen you can order online from a local restaurant and they will deliver straight to you at The Bearded Lady. All in all an A+ experience. You won't be disappointed."

Great craft cocktails or just some of the best rum straight on the rocks. The building has some fantastic history. Be sure to check out the gingerbread on the second floor, it has rum bottles cut into it when this place was a speakeasy during prohibition times. You can typically find live music here and cheap drinks (if you're looking for "fancy" or "classy" look elsewhere). Lots of awesome history in this pace -- much of it can be found documented on the walls. We had reservations at A&B Lobster House but had drinks here before our reservation time. Steve made my drink and I will say it was one of the best Pomegranate Martini I have had in a while. It was perfectly mixed, not too much alcohol or too much mixer. I am sorry as I do not remember the name of the other bartender but he was very welcoming as well. "Uva's new location on Simonton St has a fab collection of wines from all corners of the globe. Whether a gutsy Italian red, a crisp French white or a drop from Napa, Uva has it... & much more. The owner, Mark, is passionate about all things wine - his intimate knowledge of every drop & no-frills honesty will help you find the perfect wine. It never fails trusting him to choose the right varietal for all our occasions. Mark knows his stuff - don't let the rockstar hair & tattoos tell you otherwise.

And the selection of imported Italian pasta, Parmigiano & cured meats are always a great addition to the pantry.

Uva has been my one-stop wine shoppe for years & will be for many more. Cin-cin!"

"While in Key West for the day - the live music bought me in. Angela was my bartender. I told her what I like to drink and she recommended the house margarita and insisted I would love and I DID. She was very polite and friendly. Although I didn’t order from the other bartender he also appeared friendly and kept a smile on his face. The live music was super cool and I even got to put my own dollar bill on the wall! If I ever come to the keys I am definitely looking for Angela and the Rockhouse!"

We are on vacation in Key West and went to Big Cheezees! The pizza was absolutely amazing! Fresh veggies, sliced pepperoni, and ham. I can’t begin to describe how delicious the cheese bread was with the white garlic dip. We also had a wine slushies. Such a treat on a hot day!
The owners were super friendly too! They suggested some fun places for us to visit on our trip. We sure wish we could get them to open a Big Cheezees in North Texas! Give them a try! You won’t be disappointed!

"Casual waterside place with picnic tables and plastic cups. We brought our fresh catch and they made it into absolutely delicious Red Grouper bites. I’m not a fish person but it was tasty and they charged a reasonable $9 to cook it for us. We added a coleslaw side, super tasty with dill as a surprising ingredient added, and Key Lime Pie for dessert. The pie I’d rank as my second out of the five I’ve tried so far here in the Keys. Good food, good vibe!"

"Ok so for a major birthday ending in a zero, ate outside. For a few decades now LaTeDa has been one of my KW favorites, whether it's the restaurant, bar or live entertainment. Our waiter John was superb and spot on. The right balance of professional and personal. The manager stopped by and we shared some stories about experiences through the years. The food here is excellent, service and ambiance the same. I highly recommend coming here and relax and enjoy."

"I found this place on Google as I was trying to get away from the weekend crowd around downtown Key West. This is an amazing hidden gem. Its right on the docks and only 6 min from our Hotel. The food was spectacular, the drinks and service excellent too. The atmosphere was relaxed and there was live music but not loud like some places in town. We had a great time and I'm sure we'll come back when we are in Key West again."

"The Roost is a small bar just off Duval St that sells liquor to-go. With a bar scene as big as Key West, it’s essential to stand out, and there is one distinct aspect that allows The Roost to be one of the best bars in Key West, and her name is Annette.

Annette is a true mixologist that makes some of the best drinks in Key West, but it’s her personality that makes this bar famous. She is a fiery woman that moves around the bar with an efficiency that makes you know you’re in the right place. Annette is assertive and commands the room. She makes fun of everyone in the bar, cracks jokes, and tells great stories. She is the authentic experience at The Roost. She makes everyone feel like they’re just hanging out in a living room with old friends, enjoying drinks.

I have a group of friends that come to Key West every year; we always make our way to The Roost to say hello and have a few drinks with Annette. She is a wonderful person, and you will undoubtedly leave that place happier than when you arrived.

If you plan to enjoy the sites and sounds of Key West, you have to grab a seat at the bar, order a drink you have never had, and enjoy a great experience with Annette."

We have went the last 2 years and never had a bad experience whether it was Scharm or Jamie behind the bar. We saw Scharm the most this year bc we went later than last year. My absolute favorite part of our stay is sitting at the bar watching my Astros and talking with Scharm. You definitely need to get a Rum Punch! I love theirs better than any where else down there."

"Not for everyone but definitely for me! First time in Key West and this was on my list of places to stop. We almost didn't make it but then the last night of the trip we past by it and I said we have to go in and check it out. I was DONE drinking by that point in my trip but as soon as I walked in I drank down a little liquid courage and had the time off my life. It was so freeing and fun. The staff was amazing.Really impressed with the watch they kept out for those with cell phones and how diligently they kept people from using them. My only complaint was they should put a bathroom up there because I had to get dressed everything I needed to pee. I will definitely stop in again and you should too. At least give it 30 mins a couple drinks and see how ya like it. Hehe"

It can be hard to find a free chair or lounger especially during busy times but the place is definitely worth visiting. "Very unique design for a Non-Alcoholic Bar in the Florida Keys

It's a very nice place to enjoy virgin cocktails, coffee, fruity beverages, and all together new variants of botanical plant-based drinks.

On top of that, the vibe is very welcoming with many side activities for you and your friends to keep you busy while enjoying a refreshing beverage. The bartenders are friendly and do a magnificent job making you feel at home. I can't wait to visit more often to see the special events they have within the weeks (Come on, open mic night!)

If you and your friends need a spot to try something new that doesn't involve alcoholic beverages, I highly recommend Kava Culture Kava Bar! :))"

"BEST Happy Hour by far! We visited several places during our stay in KW and sampled their happy hour fare and non held a candle to the White Tarpon Bar. We first stopped in Monday 1/9 and had the conch fritters, bacon wrapped scallops and the smoked fish dip. Of those, the fish dip left much to be desired. It was meh, especially having had the smoked fish dip at The Fish House in Key Largo. But I digress…

We had conch fritters at 3 other places and non were we good. Our least fave were at Sloppy Joes. Terrible.

Anyway, Zach was our server at the bar and was great. Highly recommend and we will be back!"

"Walking around Key West and checking out some of the more nostalgia related places and one on our list was "The Hog's Breath Saloon". There were seats available and we were all a little hungry from our touring and walking around Key West. This place was fairly crowded, others were here from the cruise ships to have a beer, or drink, and grab some lunch! There were seven of us in our party and we found a table that would accommodate all of us. So we sat down and ordered Tea, and Cokes for most all, I had a beer. We also ordered Conch Fritters, Nachos with pulled pork, cheese, and jalapenos, and an order of Crab Dip. All of which was really good!! We enjoyed looking at all the stickers on the windows and woodwork from people and places from all over the U.S. and elsewhere. A very casual ambience, the waitress was very nice and patient with us. The highlight was the chickens that just casually walk-in and around the place while you're eating! It's kind of entertaining as they are all over Old Town Key West! Even the Monroe County Courthouse Lawn!!! We didn't leave without picking up a T-shirt, Magnets for the refrigerator, and stickers! Interesting place for drinks and food!"

"Came here for dinner after seeing the sunset near Mallory Square. It is self- seating so you can choose whichever table you want to sit at. Very fun nightlife open outdoor-ish pub atmosphere with live music entertainment. The food was pretty good and a decent price. Not too pricey and service was great. We enjoyed appetizer of Conch Fritters with like a honey mustard sauce. I ordered the Island Salad and added grilled shrimp for extra $7. Also tried their Pink Flamingo cocktail drink ($10) that is fruity taste which I enjoyed. We also had a sirloin steak that comes with 2 sides you can choose. Another dish was the Mahi mahi that also comes 2 sides of your choosing. And we had the Fish Tacos with a choice of two sides too. A great place to hangout and chill while enjoying your meal and listening to entertaining live music."

"We attended an event here. Although our event created quite the crowd, the GM and staff on deck were fabulous and handled the several hour rush fantastically!

I had a level 3 Hurricane and it was perfect along with a few beers. I had wanted to order the alligator tacos but due to supply chain issues they have been out. The GM highly recommended the Mahi Melt.

I am so glad that I took his recommendation. My tastes buds exploded!! It was probably one of the best meals I had in 6 days. Honestly I was apprehensive and normally would never order a grilled cheese with fish. But their cheese selection, sour dough bread and other treats added to the sandwich are nothing short of a culinary masterpiece. * it was so yummy I forgot to take a pic prior to eating half of the sandwich*

Even if you don’t grab a bite, stop in for the awesome vibe and enjoy a drink."

Conch fritter balls were Good too. Not your average hotel pool food. My drink of choice is the Key Lime Koolada (key lime taste was light). This definitely one of Key West’s best kept secret. I’ve been to multiple shows and all the queens are great! They each have their own personality and performance style, if you can get to a show with Faith Michael's in it though, you won’t be disappointed. Servers are attentive and quick, bartenders are quick and you won’t go long without a drink. DJ also does great job keeping music going and sound on point.

You can pay card for the cover charge but make sure to have singles to tip them as they walk around and interact during the show. Don’t be shy, they won’t hurt you 😉

Would recommend making reservation, especially during busy times, as it does fill up, but most times you can walk in."

"If you're wondering why they have a 5 star rating, it's because this bar serves up nostalgia with every single drink. With over 20 beers on tap, there's a lot to choose from.
There is no other place in Key West that has taken me back in time to my 12 year old self than The Retro Room, and I would drink here every night if I could.
From the arcade machines, board games, and pop culture decor: every inch of this bar deserves to be discovered! There is more here than you would think. A fun place to play games and interact with others.
Kid friendly until 8pm, we took our kids during happy hour, and none of us wanted to leave.

"A very nice hotel located in New Town Key West, FL! Had a wonderful 2 night stay! Bar on site along with a luxurious pool featuring live music, games and pool side restaurant. Great gift shop with local offerings from different businesses in and around Key West! Rates were somewhat reasonable given it’s in Key West. Our pool view room was spacious and clean with modern amenities. The hotel staff was very helpful and polite. A shuttle runs every hour to Old Town Key West and back with a reservation from the front desk. Plenty of parking in the back of the hotel although it was a bit of a walk. Your reservation gives you access to four other hotel pools around 24 North! A food truck is also on site along with a Starbucks! The Republica Bar was fantastic and Stephanie the bartender was amazing! Peaceful and quiet at night as you are away from the hustle and bustle of Old Town. Would definitely recommend staying here when you’re in Key West! We loved our time here and can’t wait to come back sometime soon!"

"If you are a craft beer fan, skip the main bar at Sloppy Joes and head over to Joe's Tap Room. It is a smaller venue at the NE corner of the property with roughly 10 stools at the bar, 2-3 smaller high top tables and a few additional tables outside on the patio. It is quieter than the main bar with a better selection of craft beers on tap. We were served by Tammy, who was awesome! She recommended the perfect beers, offered local advice for the rookie Key West tourist and has a great personality, smile and made us feel right at home. We will be back and highly recommend!"

"This is a new place in Key West for food, drinks, and entertainment you have to get to. First off its an Irish Pub that knows how to pour a Guinness Beer properly. They have a great selection of Irish Whiskey that is better than any other place in the Keys. They have 27 year old Redbreast that you won't see any place in Key West. They open their upstairs patio on the weekends with live music. The food is fantastic, not a bad selection on the menu. Now, they are Philadelphia fans, everything Phillies. Mike and Amy run the place and are gracious hosts and very welcoming. Great place to watch NFL games. The food is great and the service continues to impress."

"Came in to watch a Vikings game while we were on vacation and had a great time eating and drinking here. Daniel and Ry made us feel right at home and made sure we had our own TV to watch and gave great recommendations on the food."

"Our favorite bar in Key West!
We hung out at Hanks multiple nights during our stay in Key West. The staff was so friendly and attentive the entire time, especially the manager Paul. Always have the best line up for live music and the option to reserve a table if you have a larger group.
Also, the food from Garbo's is incredible! We love that some of their merchandise proceeds help out rescue dogs too. A great place all around. See you next time Hank's!

"Clean and well air conditioned with comfortable chaise lounge chairs. Wine-O became our favorite place to stop in for a few drinks before dinner. The bar offers a wide variety of red and white wines, they even had Prosecco. Our bartender Andreja was very attentive, polite, friendly and welcoming every time we visited. I highly recommend visiting Wine-O if you are on Duval street."
